Multilink’s Optima™ Series of closures alleviate many of the headaches found in today’s FTTX deployments. This closure makes field installations easier and economically feasible by eliminating the use of hardened connectors in favor of standard SC and LC connectors. The Optima™ S features separate splicing and drop compartments, allowing for installs without disturbing the splicing partition. The splitter can be installed if secondary splitting is required to reach additional properties. The Optima™ T and C4 are pigtailed closures that favor the design of many MST’s available today, without the need for a hardened connector. The Optima™ series uses standard connectors, eliminating the need to stock different lengths of pre-terminated drops, allowing field termination of bulk fiber, and preventing drop fiber waste, thus saving money.
